As part of a broader mass housing initiative in Damaturu, this project focused on the construction of critical water infrastructure to support sustainable living within the newly developed residential zones along Gujba Road in Yobe State.
Our scope included the design and installation of a comprehensive water supply system aimed at ensuring consistent access to clean, potable water for residents of the housing estate. The infrastructure was tailored to meet the current demand while allowing scalability for future population growth.
Key elements of the project included borehole drilling, the installation of high-capacity water storage tanks, elevated tank platforms for gravity-based distribution, and an underground piping network connecting individual housing units and public areas.
In line with environmental and engineering standards, the water infrastructure was built to support hygiene, reduce water scarcity, and contribute to overall public health and comfort within the estate.
Scope of Work:
Drilling of high-yield boreholes for groundwater extraction
Construction of reinforced elevated steel tank towers for water storage and distribution
Installation of submersible pumps, control systems, and safety devices
Laying of underground water distribution pipelines across the estate
Connection of supply lines to residential and shared service points
Implementation of water filtration and treatment systems to ensure potable standards
Provision for future maintenance and infrastructure expansion

This project has greatly improved the quality of life for residents by ensuring reliable access to clean water, a basic but essential service. It supports public health, reduces the burden of water sourcing, and complements the broader mass housing efforts aimed at urban development and improved living standards in Yobe State.
